I’m trying to create a range of pdf icon sizes with sketchtool. The –scales option works pretty well. However there are a couple of quirks that I can’t quite work out.
In trying to generate (from a 24px square artboard) the following sizes: 16px, 24px, 32px, 48px, 64px, 96px,
then it will generate files with the following filenames…
foo@.7.pdf <- 0.666666 (rounding to .7 in the filename, which is fine in this instance)
foo.pdf <- 1 (no problem)
firstname.lastname@example.org <- 1.33333 (rounding down to an integer in the filename, which is a tad misleading)
email@example.com <- 2
firstname.lastname@example.org <- 2.6666666 (rounding down to 2, and overwriting 2x)
email@example.com <- 4 (no problem)
Is there a way around this problem? To be honest, I’m not sure if this post is:
1. a feature request for an extra decimal place in the filename, or a suffix format flag (e.g. --suffix=px => firstname.lastname@example.org)
2. a bug report,
3. or I’m simply misunderstanding the flag.
In the end we adjusted all of the icons to be on 16x16 artboards which worked out better, however there is more maintenance overhead as a result since the designers would prefer to work with 24x24.
Any help greatly appreciated.
