I regularly commit SVG exports from SketchTool into git. One thing I'm noticing as I upgrade versions, which trigger new commits with any differences in the exports, is that the standalone attribute in the XML header seems to come and go and is possibly inconsistently included even while on the same version. For example, I have a commit that looks like this for 47.1:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="no"?>
However when trying an export now it's not there.
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
The only difference I can think of is that I'm upgraded from El Capitan to High Sierra in the interim. But I've seen this behavior before as well so I don't think that's related.
Does anyone know what conditions include this attribute and whether or not it can be safely stripped always?
